Before attempting the listening section, make sure to go through the instructions carefully.  In sections 1, 2, and 3 you will be given time to review your answers.  You can utilize the time to do the following:

  • Re-read the questions to predict the answers
  • Highlight the keywords while reading
  • Look for the distracting words like-(However, maybe, but, instead), as they can change the complete meaning of the sentence.

P- Pick a topic (Pick a topic to listen to for a minimum of 10 minutes)

L- Listen to the Topic (Listen to the topic and note down the important keywords)

B- Brainstorm the topic (Try to find the meaning of the recording and the synonym of the words)

S- Summarize the topic (Write the summary of the topic in bullet points)
